Who Is Driving Inequality? You Are.
Two Schools in Marin County
Last year, the California Attorney General held a tense press conference at a tiny elementary school in the one working class, black neighborhood of the mostly wealthy and white Marin County. His office had concluded that the local district "knowingly and intentionally" maintained a segregated school, violating the 14th amendment. He ordered them to fix it, but for local officials and families, the path forward remains unclear, as is the question: what does "equal protection" mean?
No Student Left Behind
A documentary about the funding inequities between the two public schools in Sausalito-Marin City.
The Color Of Youth Court
A short documentary about how Marin County Youth Court is providing restorative justice alternatives to incarceration.
The Trauma of Systematic Racism is killing Black Women.
The founders of the GirlTrek are on a mission to reduce the leading causes of preventable death among black women — and build communities in the process. How? By getting one million women and girls to prioritize their self-care, lace up their shoes and walk in the direction of their healthiest, most fulfilled lives.
